Our Story

Founded with a passion for technology and agriculture, Sybu Data has been at the forefront of developing advanced solutions for the agtech industry. Our automation control for fruit sorting systems is deployed at more 70 farms and packhouses in South Africa and abroad. Furthermore, Sybu Data has development various technology advanced solutions and applications for clients in the financial sector as well as multiple security solutions for the South African Government.

The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) Design Institute awarded the founder of Sybu Data, André Roodt, the Design Excellence Award in the Engineering Category for the Vizier Grape Sizer. Our expertise in automation and data analytics has driven us to create ‘Every Gram Counts,’ a product designed to optimize packing operations and reduce overpack and waste.
